Overcoming Inadequacy Summary

March 8, 2011

When you feel inadequate you feel like you are not good enough. This feeling usually comes as a result of a subconsciously stored negative emotional memory from your past.

Whenever something happens in your present that reactivates this memory, you will start to feel inadequate. Associated with these feelings will be thoughts of inadequacy, causing you to think and feel like you are not good enough.

To overcome your feelings of inadequacy, you need to monitor your thoughts by carrying out the advice given in these two articles.

This will help to prevent your negative beliefs from reinforcing themselves, and eliminate inappropriate feelings of inadequacy which were generated by something reactivating your past emotional memories.

In addition to this you need to experience new things in your life, and use those experiences to create new subconsciously stored positive emotional memories.

People who like Erupting Mind have told their friends about it. So if you found this article or website helpful, please do the same and join this growing community by helping to spread the word.

Why We Fail

January 24, 2011

Do you have goals? If you had your life to live over again, you could do more than you have done thus far in your life.

That proves a point, that what we do and what we accomplish in life is only the tip of the iceberg of whats possible for us. So i want you to think about the goals that you want to achieve. Think about a personal goal, career, business goal, and a social contributuion to make an impact with your life.

We should be ashamed to die until we have made some major contribution to human kind. I believe that we live in the  greatest country in the world that gives us an opportunity to leave our mark and leave a statement with our lives.

What ever those goals are, dramitically increase them. Do not think about how to do it. Its very important to increase them. Most people fail in life, not beace they ail to high and miss, most people fail i life because they aim too low and hit rock bottom and many dont aim at all.

Overcoming

January 22, 2011

Through the power of the divine within me, I can accomplish anything. This time, I correct my thinking and get out of my own way. Instead of doubting the power of the Christ within, I look for evidence of support–divine ideas when I feel an impasse, peace when I feel anxious, and confidence when I temporarily lose my way. Through the Christ of my being, I am able to do all things. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.–Philippians 3:14

DO It Afraid

January 4, 2011

Do It Afraid
Fear! Has it ever been a problem for you, holding you back from moving into areas that could enrich your own life and the lives of others? There is a solution.
One of the many benefits available to Christians is freedom from fear. When we avoid making changes or confronting issues in our lives because of fear or dread, we need to remember that God has promised to go before us and bring us through victoriously as we obey Him.
When we’re facing a job interview, for example, instead of being afraid that we’ll make a bad impression and fail to get the position, we need to ask God to prepare the heart and mind of the interviewer and help us present ourselves in the very best light. When God “prepares the way,” we can trust that whatever happens will turn out for our good according to His perfect plan for us.
I believe the words “fear not” simply mean “don’t run.” So the solution to fear is simple: Rather than bowing our knee and giving in to it, we must stand firm against it, knowing that God has gone before us and prepared the way.

Many times we think we should wait to do something until we are no longer afraid, but if we did that, we’d probably accomplish very little for God, for others, or even for ourselves. Giving in to fear alters God’s best plan for your life. So use the power of God’s Word to do what He wants you to do…even if you have to do it afraid! The rewards are great.

Exposure, Enlarging Your Territory

November 8, 2010

There are places in our lives where we need to change for the better.
Change is directed to living in abundance. Maybe we need it in our
marriage, friendship, finances, health, and career. Whatever area it
is there is always room for Improvement. You even advertised that you
were going to change with public resolutions. If this is you this is
the time to turn your negative into a positive.

Exposure: John 1:1-14, text v.14
God wanted to expose us to him. We were exposed through the
existence of Christ whom exposed us to heaven and all it had to offer
us. He exposed us to higher thinking and faith that can’t be taught
or humanly detected.

You cannot change your life to do better in an area unknown to you
less you are exposed to greater options. Without exposure you will
never be what you could be, what you are called or chosen to be.

We need to be exposed with the supremacy of Gods plan
of what he had in place to be when he made you from the foundation of
the world. Most people are not properly used because you don’t know why you
were made the way you were made. You have to know the master plan and
what God has for your life or you will be abused by other people’s agenda. Exposure
is critical if you are going to be the person God wants you to be and
if you are going to move effectively the way God allows you to.
God will sometimes give you a sample or a taste something different.
This technique is used to expose you to the direction and knowledge
that will help shape you for your future.

The worst thing is working with people who have not been properly
exposed to anything. These people are critical and narrow minded as
well as judgmental. They think that the whole world is hinged upon
their own experience. The truth is you know what you have experienced
and exposed which means you have been under exposed and you can’t turn
your life around until you come out your familiar environment. You
cannot make an intelligent decision with poor information.

Stop making prejudged ideas on things that you have not been exposed
to. God changes us by exposing us. Sometimes God will expose you to
something that you are not ready for. You might have to circle around
it a few times before it attracts you. Also you might have to grow up
to it and mature in it. You may not have a taste for it overnight and
may not like the experience because you were not ever exposed to it
and it’s not familiar to you.

When Jesus came into the earth realm, people were not familiar with Him and
rejected Him because He did not fit their idea. If it’s not according
to your book you have a hard time accepting it. If anyone does anything
different from us we have a problem because we are not familiar.

Do not let someone else’s underexposure imprison you with their one
way method. Don’t allow other people make you feel bad about what you
know and what you have been exposed to.

Most people become friends with people that have common goals and
ideas with them. We even marry people we are familiar with. We don’t
want different because it is too complicated. So we build our lives
around only what we know and not what we are exposed to.

Most people live in the closet and don’t know it. Why die before you
learn more options to live for. You haven’t seen the best of life as
well as your options.

Exposure forces you out of your element and begins with cross
palliating with other creatures, other cultures, other foods, other
places, other ages, stages. Break out of your imprisoned mindset and
accept what God exposes you to.

I was designed for my time

September 28, 2010
Sermon by: Elder Kirk Ayton”
CEO of,  www.christiandiary.org

How are we designed for a specific time? Reference to Jeremiah 1:4-6:  4Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,   5“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” So that leads me to believe that even the least of us have a designed purpose in the sight of God.

Which leads to the subject titled “I was designed for my time”.

Foundational Scripture:  Luke 22:39-46:

39And He came out and went, as He was wont, to the Mount of Olives; and His disciples also followed Him.
40And when He was at the place, He said unto them, “Pray that ye enter not into temptation.”
Ref.: Gen. 4:7 (sin lieth at the door.)
41And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down and prayed,
42saying, “Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Thine be done.”
43And there appeared an angel unto Him from Heaven, strengthening Him.
(this represent time recognition, someone say do you know what time it is?)
44And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat was, as it were, great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45And when He rose up from prayer and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping for sorrow.
46And He said unto them, “Why sleep ye? Rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
Ref.: Gen. 4:7 (sin lieth at the door.) same warning scenario

History: This passage is referring to Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane (Parallels scripture: Matt. 26:36-46; Mark 14:32-42; John 18:1). He only took Peter, James and John there to pray. Now even in that atmosphere Peter had to be rebuked due to him striking the soldier. Now what we must understand is we have the power to alter your will of God ( 3: your will, permissive will, and perfect will), so Jesus had to put it back on track because it was the will of the Father for Jesus to be dealt with in the manner that he was during the crucifixion. Imagine if Peter would have been taken captive how that would have changed first the Origination, Destination, Provocation, Instigation, Motivation, and Representation of the true meaning of his Crucifixion and His Resurrection. But that’s not the direction I’m going… Ecclesiastes 3:1 reads “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”.

3 Points:

  • He went: Jesus went to a place that he went to all the time that he knew was set for a specific reason (Sanctification) Luke 22:39-40.
  • We must find that sacred place, a place where we can hear God for clear concise directions.
  • We have to learn that what we do have an impact with everyone we come in contact with.
  • Peter and the other 2 did not even understand what they were about to witness for the future of mankind.

The 3 were only a few feet away and still didn’t learn what was going on in the spirit (does that sound like you?) give example:

  1. Do we find ourselves in situation and can’t seem to find a way out even though the door is wide open to walk through?
  2. How many of us can remember a situation that we knew what to do to exit but we stay in it because we want to change the outcome?

We received: Now as Jesus was face first on the ground in deep sorrow pleading for our sins we the 3 were resting as if the work was done.

1. We ignored the obvious because we feel that the battle is not ours.

2. We think since we’re not the one seeking, fasting, praying, warring or standing in the gap for someone or a situation then we can live life as we see fit for us.

In order to receive you need to conceive the plan of God for your life so you can see where you fit and where others fit in the puzzle. You need to know about your true destiny. Ecclesiastes 12:13 gives us our ultimate starting point to “Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”.

He conquered: Clearly states Romans 8:37 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us”.

Now by show of hands who believes that they have ever been defeated with any of life’s strongholds while in Christ Jesus?

2 Corinthians 10:3-6: 3For though we walk in the flesh (the physical nature of human beings <the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak — Matthew 26:41) it is not talking about the skin it is referring to the will of mankind, we do not war according to the flesh. 4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds, 5casting down imaginations (will of mankind) and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, 6and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

In conclusion:

  • Know who you are for Christ!
  • Know where you are in his will for your life!
  • Know that when you became a son and daughter you no longer belong to yourself! Know that what you go through is for a time, a time that you were designed for.
  • Give God the chance to complete his will with your life.
  • Allow God to show you what dispensation you’re in with his will for you.
  • And allow God to reward you on earth as it is in heaven. Amen…

Drive and Ambition

September 22, 2010

Ambition is the strong drive for success. It is a positive personal character trait. . It also refers to a positive personal trait of a dreamer whom has many phases of goals that result in success and advancement in life. A person without ambition is said to be shiftless. But it is possible to have too much ambition. In such a case, you may apply negative actions to achieve your goals.

The benefits of being ambitious are having good or positive character. Good personal character will improve your ability to achieve goals and complete difficult tasks. If you have positive social character, you will be trusted and even admired by other people.

Most people do not think about or judge their own character or events in your life that may motivate a change. You may realize that you are not achieving your goals and decide to change your personal character by moving to another city or change careers and may be forced to adapt your social character. Achieving comes from within first, then attaches to your goals. Don’t change anything unless you give much thought and planning as well as meditation. If you change in character in the positive direction benefits will follow, but there are also cases where people change in the negative direction which results in regretful results.

A person who is ambitious has a dream of succeeding in some endeavor, usually related to his or her career. An ambitious person is hard-working in striving to achieve goals and to move up in the world.

If you are ambitious in your job, you will be looking for ways to move up or drive up the ladder of success. You will put out an extra effort to make a mark in your job and to get a promotion. Employers love ambitious workers with drive.

Drive and ambition is the desire for personal achievement. It provides the motivation and determination necessary to help give direction to life. However ambitious people seek to be the best at what they choose to do for attainment, power, or superiority. Also ambition can also be defined as the object of this desire.

Now let’s talk about drive for a moment. Drive is the inner power or energy that pushes toward acting, performing actions and achieving. Drive has much to do with desire and ambition, and if they are absent, drive is absent too. Often, a person has the desire and ambition to get something done or achieve a certain goal, but lacks the push, the initiative and the willingness to take action. This is due to lack of drive and inner drive.

Drive strengthens the ambition, increases initiative and gives direction, courage, energy and the persistence to follow one’s goals. A drive person takes action and does whatever it needs to achieve his/her goals.Drive becomes strong when you have a vision, a clear mental image of what you want to achieve, and also a strong desire to materialize it. In this situation drive awakens and pushes you forward, toward taking action and making the vision a reality. Drive can be applied to every action and goal. There could be drive to learn a subject you are planning to major in, to lose weight by exercising every day, make more money, get a better job, buy a new house or car, and own a franchised business. Drive is present whenever there is a clear vision, precise knowledge of what you want to do according to your abilities.Drive is one of the most important keys to success. When there is lack of drive you either get no results, or only mediocre results, whereas when there is drive, you attain greater and better results and achievements.

To enhance your drive and ambition, awaken the power that will push you toward accomplishing your dreams, whether they are small or big. Here are a few suggestions to help you get to the next level in your life.

Believe All Things Are Still Possible

Get Over Your Past Disappointments

 Gain Truth from All Experience

Always Be Willing To Blossom

Endeavored To Grow Wiser

Never Lose Focus of your Goals

Intensify Your Focus and Discipline

Accept Your New Beginning In Life

Invest In Those That Has Lost Focus

When you decide to put these principles in order, you will notice that your outlook of life has changed. Sometimes we need a change of view in order to redirect our success. Drive and Ambition will taxi you to next level in your life no matter what your walk of life is.

Purpose

September 9, 2010

Have you been asking yourself, “What is my life purpose?”Finding your life’s purpose is a necessity to live a happy and fulfilling life. Sometimes your life purpose will find you.

When we pursue purpose, we must understand that purpose is rooted in words like intent, objective and goal. Within the many meanings of the word purpose, you will find the word propose, which means planning, presentation and preparation. This means, that the purpose of something is planned carefully before execution. You must realize and understand that purpose and planning is into your blueprints and future makeup. A great deal has been put into where you fit in God’s overall presentation.

The essence of God’s plan is to reveal His plan for our lives. We were predestined for a purpose. We do not exist just to take up space on earth. Our purpose is tied to our destiny and we cannot run from our predestined responsibilities and gifts that were exported into our hearts. The thing you must remember is that you cannot escape your purpose because destiny is grabbing your life and holding on to your ankles and will not let go until you submit to your purpose. This is simply a time to transition your life from being significant to becoming relevant.

I believe the first step to discovering your life purpose is to be aware that you have one. The second step is recognizing that purpose has nothing to do with you but everything to do with what God gets out of what you go through. Many people think that their purpose has to be some big fancy thing. That is ego, not spirit. Your purpose can be anything. Your purpose may be to be a janitor, a handy man, a sales person, an artist, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a daycare provider or any other opportunity that is available. As long as you are providing a service that benefit others and you are happy doing it, that’s all that matters. Don’t let other people’s view and opinions of what is important limit who you are.

When you are truly walking in your purpose, you stop seeing life as what I can get out of it, but rather how can I contribute to it. Purpose is never about you and how well you can be seen or how much credit you can get for your contribution. Your purpose and reason for existence is to have a desired effect for an intended outcome of a goal reached as well as accomplished. In order for your desire or the evolving necessaries to accomplish goals of some sort is to have a determination on seeing your focal point of existence coming to surface as you have imagined it.

Purpose is not a destination reached, but a series of opportunities along life’s journey that present themselves for us to be in position physically, mentally, and spiritually to fulfill a need that destiny has placed before us that will serve our community and glorify God.

Preparing is key and is something done in advance in order to be ready for a future.  Preparing is also an act of planning and is involved in making mental readiness and changing your lifestyle for achievement. When you plan for the future you are in a state of readiness and the lack of planning produces desperate decisions. So much of our time is preparation, so much is routine, and so much retrospect, that the path of each mans genius contracts itself to a very few hours. “Preparation is king, industrious efforts is queen, persistence is crowned by accomplishing your actual thought”,

You are destined for greatness and you deserve to be happy. And every single living person needs you to step into your greatness and live your divine purpose. Remember you have a big position to play in life. Become aware that you need to find out exactly what your life purposes are and accomplish them. Accept and embrace your purpose in life and come to terms with what it means to you and others that you will affect. Articulate your life purposes by putting them into words. If you are articulating, you are putting in words what it is that you are meant to be and do. Take action by moving towards the fulfillment of your life purpose. If you are taking action, you have begun making major life changes that are more in alignment with who you are and what you are meant to do. You bring something amazing to this world. So discover the value and purpose and remember those whom are still in search of theirs as well.

3 Seeds To Sow!!

September 2, 2010

There are many people who argue what mentors must pour into those that look up to them. I recently spoke a motivational message that inspired many role models. The point of this article is to redirect what seeds we sow into those that are connected to us whether it is at church, home, workplace, or with people that we run into in the shopping market. There are three major seeds that we must share with everyone that we run into. It needs to be implemented in our homes as well.

The first seed we must sow especially into our children is trust. We must create an urgency to trust God as well as His spoken and written Word. Many people have gained a great love for God but fail to put all trust in Him.  Trust is assured reliance or dependence that focuses on the truth of someone by which confidence is placed. We need to realize that our own trust issues do not belong to God the Father. No matter the reasoning for our own trust dysfunctions, we cannot punish ourselves or others for other people’s mistake. One must take control of their life. Trust issues are very common with the majority of our population. What is not common is when we allow these trust issues to rule our lives. It’s called responsibility. One cannot blame someone else when they have been holding grudges for years. Trusts is definitely earned but let’s face the true culprit with trust issues, it is you. Stop blaming people from your past. We must also realize that no one entirely can solve the trust issues we have in our lives. We must deal with these issues alone and when we do so, we can then heal. Can God the Father be supportive and understanding? Yes indeed, He will give the needed strength to overcome, so be positive and deal with your problems by accepting every situation that has occurred.

The second seed we must sow into others is confidence which is faith or belief that one will act in a right, proper manner, effective way, or state of being certain. Self-confidence is commonly defined as the sureness of feeling that you are equal to the task at hand. This sureness is characterized by absolute belief in ability. You may well know someone whose self-belief has this unshakeable quality, whose ego resists even the biggest setbacks. In such people, confidence is as resilient as a squash ball: the harder the blow, the quicker they bounce back. Nonetheless, although confidence is a desirable characteristic, arrogance or a sureness of feeling not well founded in one’s ability is undesirable. Confidence can determine whether or not you will succeed in achieving your goal. One of the major stumbling blocks to achieving your goal, living your dream, doing anything you want to do in your life is a lack of confidence! When people have confidence, they consistently take action and make necessary changes; they get results and achieve their goals. When people lack confidence, however, they get stuck and they remain stuck. They may have the same ability and skills as a person with confidence, but because they lack confidence they don’t easily take action towards their goals. Your confidence is something you can work on. You can learn techniques that will not only develop your confidence but strengthen it and when your confidence is strengthened, you begin to achieve more in your life.

The third and final seed that we must sow into others is ambition. Ambition is ardent desire for rank and power. You will have a desire to achieve a particular end and won’t stop until you have reached your goal. When you are ambitious you are not a quitter nor will you subject yourself to be one known for starting an assignment without finishing it first. You will not let anything get in your way of accomplishing your desires to fulfill your hearts ambition.  Also Ambition is the desire for personal achievement. It provides the motivation and determination necessary to help give direction to life. Ambitious people seek to be the best at what they choose to do for attainment, power, or superiority. When you sow this seed in others you are teaching them to desire for success: a strong feeling of wanting to be successful in life and achieve great things. Your prime objective or goal is to achieve all obstacles on all levels. Having ambition is just the feeling you get when you see something you’d like to have and you think you have a chance to get it, so you make an effort. I do think it is a good idea to encourage young people to have ambitions, because in working to get things they pick up useful skills and values along the way.

Remember if these three elements can be implemented and sown in the lives in others, you will create an evolution and build people to mature believing and wanting more without greed and selfishness. Trust, confidence, and ambition will enable anyone to grow and mature properly becoming a role model and mentor for those that has not matured in their proper timing. I like to call them late bloomers because they have not blossomed as of yet and are behind schedule. But it is not their fault, I blame the ones that should have poured into their lives but did not take the opportunity at all. This is the season to make sure that we pour this information into everyone that we come in contact with. If you take every opportunity to do so you will be surprised of the changing of your environment.

Greater Days Ahead,
